"Magical", the word I would use to describe Dr. Cutrone when talking about her to my friends. "She is an amazing Pediatric Dentist I would tell them. She really takes her time to comfort each child and genuinely builds a relationship with them. She always makes the children feel special." It was the year 2001, when I met her for the first time. She peeked her head around the corner with a big smile on her face and said, "Hi, I'm Dr. Cutrone"! From that moment on, I knew I was at the right place and continued working for her for the next 10 years. I was not only one of the most luckiest people in the world to have Dr. Cutone as my boss, I was also so blessed to have her as a special friend. I remember sharing the news with her that I would soon be married, and shortly after that, sharing that I would soon be expecting my first baby. Dr. Cutrone was such a big part of my life. We also shared many of my children and her children's birthdays. I always thought how lucky Sam and John were to have her as their mother. Likewise, Dr.Cutrone was so proud of her children and loved them dearly. Dr. Cutrone always took the time to really listen to what you had to say, and always gave great advice. She was someone that I looked up to and an angel that I will never forget. Dr.Cutrone was an example of how the character of Christ shines in a person.
John Cutrone
She was my Mom. I loved her and she loved me. She loved me. She will be dearly missed. Love, John

Chrys has been a good friend to us. She is kind, generous, and she was always fun to be with finding good in our circumstances. She has been like a mother to our girls, Kristine and Kathleen. We will miss her.

Chrys Cutrone was the best Mommy. I was the room Mom in John’s class every year; and John and Hannah were great friends. Chrys was always there to offer her help in class. She was sincere and honest and I will always cherish her memory. God Speed. I will miss you Chrys.
Alyssa Boutelle
Mrs Chrys was the best dentist and close friend I’ve ever had. Her laugh was so joyful. She never was sad. She always was happy.

My daughter, Elizabeth went to Santa Margarita and knew Sam from her classes and activities, like mun and golf. I would, therefore, frequently see Chrys at school and at meetings. My memories are of her rushing into meetings and chatting with her about her golf schedule. She was always cheerful and smiling, obviously proud of her beautiful daughter and her accomplishments. She was friendly and helpful and an absolute pleasure to know. She will be greatly missed.

Something special about Chrys – I’ll never forget how she was not afraid to stand up for what she believed in. Truly a special woman.
Anahita Marquetant
I will always remember her kindness and contagious laughter. She was filled with love and kindness. I will always remember our Coffee gatherings at Pete’s after dropping off the kids. She always talked about our similarities, traditions and background (Armenian and Greek). I’ll always remember I’m so blessed to know her. She was a light who will be greatly missed. I pray that John comes back to his St. Anne school and Community and family.

She was one of the nicest people I knew. It was so hard to see her go.

My fondest memories of Chrys are when she would have us over on Halloween at your home in Laguna Niguel. She was such a big kid at heart; Chrys would dress up and pass out candy and made the entire night such a fun experience for everyone. I loved Chrys’ laugh – so deep and throaty and full of life! She is so dearly loved and missed by us. Love.

She loved to laugh and was full of patience. Dr. Cutrone was my mentor. Her heart was so full of love, passion, God and family. I can’t help but think of her every time I go to work at the San Juan office. Her legacy will never be forgotten.

She was a very beautiful person inside and out. She was also my dentist. She always knew exactly what flavor toothpaste I wanted and put me in a separate room in her dentist office so I didn’t have to watch pokemon with my brothers. I will miss her al lot and I love her very much.
Elizabeth Lagatton
Sam and I were involved in many of the same activities (full IB, MUN, golf), so I often saw her mother. Her mother was always very sweet and friendly. She was very helpful and always worked to help in everything that she could. I was so sorry to hear of her suffering with cancer. She will be missed.

A sister, a friend, a mother like was Dr. Chrys to everyone she came in contact with. Proud mother of Samantha and little John as she referred to him. Let very humble child of the most high king.

I only met Chrys a few times but of what I saw when I met her and of what Sam told me it was obvious that Chrys was an amazing mother and an inspiration to both Sam and John. She is an inspiration to every she met and a blessing to everyone.

I went to New York and visited Sam, John and Mrs. Cutrone. We walked around some and went out to dinner. She was always so nice to me and my mom and she will be greatly missed.

I will always remember Mrs. Cutrone’s strong funny personality. The way she would treat me like her own child when we used to carpool and the way she made fun of me and her daughter for trick or treating at our age. She was always asking how I was or how my family was and I’m glad I got to know and be close to someone as supportive and personal as her.

I can remember hanging out with your Mom @ FDF at the Glendhi’s and dancing. All the other moms in our group were asleep. But we had to stay up for you, Sam and Spiros. We had so much fun dancing and watchig you guys dancing in the crowded room. I will also remember practicing in her parking lot whe we had nowhere to go. Your Mom had the biggest heart. I will have fond memories of FDF forever. I will also remember our deep conversations while she cleaned the kid’s teeth, or gave them a filling. We would always be discussing how to fix the church, dance or what great kids you all are. Even those early days when we had Greek school in her office were so fun. Those were bonding times for all of us – stuck for hours during class. Here FDF banner she put her heart and sould into will be a constant reminder of our loss. Last year we missed you both at FDDF but her banner ws there, her heart in spirit. Lots of Love and best wishes

I will always cherish the times our families got together when the kids were still very young. Because of the distance (physical), we could not see a lot of them in the recent past. However, what a blessing we had whenever we had our weekend getaways with Samantha, John and Maligs. Thank you for the joy and laughter we shared talking into the night while in Chicago and New York. We love you guys! Aloha

God bless you Chrys. Rest in God’s loving hands

Our daughter, Lauren, and Samantha became friends in 2nd grade. We enjoyed knowing Chrys through school functions and as our dentist. She was truly generous. My girl scout troop painted the windows of her office for the past 5 years at Christmas. One year the professional window painter asked if she wanted her windows repainted and she said “No Way!”. She loved coming in after we painted and being surprised with our creation. As our dentist she had a way with our girls. They loved coming in and telling her about what was going on in their lives. She genuinely cared. After a traumatic time at a previous dentist my youngest daughter loved Dr. Cutrone and she treated Emily with so much care and love as one of her own kids. We will miss her terribly.

Dear Sam and John, Your mom was such a beautiful woman. I can’t imagine how much you ust miss her. BUT she is with Jesus watching over you now and she will always be in your hearts. I am so glad that we had the chance to know her. It was evident that she was loved by many and loved you both with all her heart. May God bless you both rightly. Call on the Holy Spirit when you need comfort. With love…

My friend, my boss, my confidant, the one who gave me happy moments and long talks. Very pleasant person, able to gain everybody’s heart, especially mine. She will be in my heart always and I am jealous and happy that she is with God before me. God bless her beautiful family.

In just a few days working with Dr. Cutrone that make me hard to believe a nice person like her can really be passed away. I really love her a lot. She made us feel comfortable and she had a great sense of humor that made people around her feel no stress at all. Hope God always is with her.

Chrys was a very special person to her patients, colleagues, griends and family. She was always pleasant even when circumstances were difficult. She will continue to be an example to all. Her courage, pleasantness remains with us.

I remember Chrys always being so generous to me and my siblings. No matter how much time passed that I hadn’t seen her (me going away for college) she still always gave us Xmas presents, remembered my graduation and wedding. It was completely unexpected and generous of her. She was such a giving person.

All my memories of Chrys are of her warm welcome at any function and her smile. She always made everyone feel welcome and took care of them. She will be missed.
Clara Lee, DDS
I met Chrys 10 yrs ago. She hired me to be her associate. She was always so generous with her time. She had an infectious laugh and bright glowing eyes. I miss her presence. She was my mentor and friend-my life is wonderful because of the opportunity she gave me. Most recently, after I purchased her practice in San Juan, I found out from others that she had received higher offers for the sale of her practice. Chrys wanted to know that her young patients would be cared for and she wanted to pass her practice on to a pediatric dentist. I am honored that she passed her practice on to me. I share this because this was the woman that Chrys was. She was generous and caring. She did not care about money. She cared for people. We love you Chrys. Live well with the Lord.

I met your Mom while working on the IB board at SM high school. Sitting and talking with her was so enjoyable. She talked of all your activities at St. Anne and SM – proud and happy of your accomplishments, friendships, etc… She was working on the IB senior dinner and I felt like a wimp! She’s a dentist, Mom, volunteer, managing so much and doing it all well, She was a real inspiration and a joy to meet and work with. I’m so privileged to have known her, even for a short time, she’ll forever be in my memories and I’ll keep you both in my thoughts and prayers.

In turn, she’d share everything about herself, what she thought, what she’d been up to, to the point where I found myself sharing in a similar manner. She made her relationships deeply personal. To me, she was like a second mother, and she will be greatly missed.
